The website http://www.naemt.org/forTheMedia/Rescuefund.htm has been set up by the NAEMT (National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians) as a fund to support those EMS and Rescue workers who have had personal losses during this disaster.

I strongly feel that those who continue to do their jobs and serve the community while having suffered their own losses without complaint and while having to endure the carping of armchair quarterbacks nationwide, deserve our strong support.

Got word it's okay

I guess I was being paranoid that others wouldn't approve, there's talk about adding a section for donations to rescuers that have had personal losses. You guys are great!Elipongo 12:34, 5 Sep 2005 (EDT)
